Packaging

The food is despatched by overnight courier in fully recyclable packaging. The meals are packed in ice packs in insulated cardboard boxes, You do not have to be in when your package arrives, the courier can leave it in a pre-arranged place out of the sun (in shed, with neighbour, etc). Once delivered, it is the recipient's responsibility to return the meals to the freezer as soon as they can.

If you are ordering a gift, please ensure the recipient knows to expect a delivery as we cannot be held responible for eg a gift left unclaimed in the recipient's garden shed.

Delivery Charges

The minimum order value is £35 (excluding delivery).

Delivery charges are as follows:

• £6.95 for orders £35-£59.99
• Free of charge for all orders over £60

Ordering Online

To place an order online, click on the category that takes your fancy (Pork, Chicken, etc). This will take you into the shop. Simply add the dishes you wish to buy to your basket. To continue shopping just click on the next category you want to go to from the menu on the left hand side. Once you have selected all the meals you want to buy,  click on Checkout to input your billing and delivery details.

Credit and debit card transactions on this site are processed by WorldPay, the leading UK provider of Internet payment processing, and are therefore subject to all the latest security and data protection technology.

Delivery

Delivery is Tuesday to Friday inclusive, between 9am and 5.30pm. Deliveries usually arrive before midday, but we don't guarantee this.

We aim to despatch within 24 hours of confirming your order. Please state your preferred delivery day & date in the Special Instructions box at the Check Out. We will contact you by phone or email within 24 hours of your order to confirm the delivery date, or to offer you an alternative if for any reason we can't deliver on the requested date(s).

Orders placed at the weekend will be confirmed by 12 noon on Monday.

There are some parts of Scotland we cannot deliver to because the courier cannot guarantee next day delivery. If in doubt, please call us before ordering.

Please note, unfortunately we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, nor anywhere else outside mainland Britain. We reserve the right to pass on the card handling fee (5%) on a refund to anyone who places an order for delivery outside mainland Britain.

Local Delivery

If your delivery address is within 20 minutes of Kingstone in Herefordshire, we may be able to deliver straight to you in our own freezer vehicles. Just email us your order and we will call/email to arrange a convenient delivery time (you will need to be in). Payment is by cash or cheque on delivery. Alternatively, you can of course call and order over the phone on 01981 250494.

Can you microwave the meals?

Yes, you can transfer the individual meals to a microwavebale container (whilst frozen), cover loosely and microwave for 4 minutes, stirring once. The following, however, are oven-bake only: Cottage Pie, Shepherd's Pie, Beef Lasagne, Luxury Fish Pie, Vegetable Crumble, Vegetarian Lasagne, Moussaka, Aubergine & Mozzarella Bake

What if I am out when my food arrives?

The courier will leave it in a pre-agreed place out of the sun (the shed, behind the garage, etc).  We guarantee that the food will be frozen on arrival. If you give us "leave" instructions it is your responsibility to check the agreed location and return the meals to the freezer as soon as you can.

Do you deliver outside mainland Britain?

No, nor Northern Ireland. We reserve the right to pass on a card handling fee (of 5%) for a refund to people who give a delivery address outside mainland Britain.

What do you use in your meals?

We use local meat, free-range poultry, and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
